The Houston Museum of Natural Science

5555 Hermann Park Drive
Houston, Texas 77030
(713) 639-4629
Website: www.hmns.org

This is one of the best places to visit while you're in Houston. It is a natural history museum located on the northern border of Hermann Park.

You'll experience a wide variety of fun, informative, and exciting activities for both adults and children.

Did I just use the terms "fun" and "exciting" about a natural history museum???

Check it out and see for yourself how much fun a museum can be.

If you've never experienced a planetarium, you need to attend one of the shows at the Burke Baker Planetarium! Shows include such titles as, "Are We Really Alone?" "Black Holes," and "Passport To The Universe."

Visit the McGovern Hall of the Americas, Cullen Hall of Gems and Minerals, Wiess Energy Hall, and the brand-new Hall of Paleontology.

If you're a science geek, you'll need to plan to spend an entire day here. And don't forget... the George Observatory is now open for Saturday stargazing!

The world premiere exhibition "Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs" is now open in conjunction with the new Hall of Ancient Egypt.

Inquire about field trips, group discounts, overnight stays, or even renting the museum!!!
